Job Description
Role and Responsibilities

·         Accountable for supervision under work authority

·         Assists supervision as needed to ensure job tasks are completed in a safe, efficient manner and to go over job sites to make sure the customer receives a quality product

·         Manages supervision utilization

·         Assessing levels of competency and their capabilities of supervision to perform assigned tasks

·         Evaluates supervision capabilities, keep track of and guide Supervision towards achievement of training goals

·         Effectively communicates with supervision and employees, Sets and maintains expectations of supervision and maintain team work mentality

·         Effectively resolves conflict and takes appropriate personnel actions

·         Recognizes, addresses and resolves issues/problems among/between crew(s)

·         Applies KSI corrective action policy where applicable

·         Shares best practices with co-workers

·         Provides a safe work environment

o    Conducts crew audits to ensure quality, productivity and safety

o    Identifies needs for supervision training needs and facilitates delivery of training (i.e. Safety, Lean, and required supervision training)

o    Communicates with supervision and/or safety personnel, topics for morning tailgate meetings

o    Monitors and participates in tailgate meetings. Lead by example

o    Assists the safety team and supervision in safety/incident investigations and reviews

o    Ensures timely responses, actions and corrections to any safety issue

·         Understands customer job tasks and receives required documentation from customer (i.e. mechanical drawings)

o    Oversees the execution of the work, including quality and production

o    Ensures supervision keeps on track with customer expectations, for example,  follow job specifications and follows drawings

o    Communicate timelines and budget concerns to supervision

o    Communicate with supervision any concerns with work schedules, equipment, and personnel that may hinder meeting the customer expectations

o    Report to management any conditions that may hinder achieving customer expectations and use guidance of project managers to resolve if necessary

·         Effectively communicates with customers

o    Shares best practices with customers

o    Participates in joint audits with customer

·         Participates in customer job walks

·         Participates in job estimation process

o    Recognizes and uses the various tools to reduce job costs

·         Monitors B-BEST process

·         Monitors ISEA process

·         Monitors SOP process

·         Monitors Near Hit process

·         Follow all KS Industries, LP safety policies and procedures

·         Follow all Customer policies and procedures

Qualifications and Education Requirements

·         20+ years construction experience in Steam, Production, CVR and all facilities associated with these systems

·         Must possess a current and valid driver’s license as required for the position, i.e., DOT-Class A, B or a non DOT class C depending on the position

·         How to read drawings/blueprints and interpret specifications

·         Handle administrative duties of position, including completion of required documents

·         Effectively use computers and other technology applicable to the job

·         Effectively use time management skills

·         Candidate must be knowledgeable with the various hand tools that are used in the oil and gas energy sector including, buffers, grinders, pipe and hand wrenches, hammers, gas monitors.
