Job Description
Role and ResponsibilitiesWhile not all inclusive, the following is a list of tasks to be performed and or coordinated:

1.       Coordinate a cycle count program in a perpetual inventory environment

2.       Coordinate the cycle count progress and results to identify necessary recounts and processes to

3.       be monitored and provide regular reports on the results

4.       Perform thorough research and document inventory discrepancies using all available resources

to identify root causes and supply possible solutions

5.       Work with key personnel to effectively implement process improvements to operational

procedures in an effort to proactively optimize overall location and item level accuracy and

maintain the highest possible productivity levels

6.       Coordinate the efforts of the cycle counts in an effort to identify and correct discrepancies on

items at the location level as needed

7.       Monitor warehouse and store transfers for accuracy and cost effectiveness as directed by

Purchasing and Distribution Management

8.       Special Order SKU’s

9.       Expedite the daily flow of all special order SKU’s to include receiving, labeling, locating and timely shipping

10.    Troubleshoot all special order problems from time of receipt

11.    Monitor special order returns, provides reporting and ensures quick returns

12.    Ensure that the unit of measure “in” is the same as the unit of measure “out”

13.    Will be an active resource in the implementation of the new WMS computer system

Qualifications and Education Requirements

·         1-2 Years Experience in oil industry. Prefer 2-3 years.

·         Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

·         Possess knowledge of Material Management and Warehousing Processes

Preferred Skills

·         Ability to work independently and be a self-motivated leader

·         Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment

·         Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

·         Ability to prioritize workloads and effectively multi-task

·         Ability to use Gmail and multiple Google applications

·         Ability to meet deadlines

·         Experience in inventory/warehouse management and cycle counting

·         Excel in Customer Service

·         Knowledge of SAP and inventory management

·         Knowledge of COPAS controllable equipment

Pre-Employment Requirements

All candidates must pass a pre employment physical examination, drug / alcohol screen, hold a valid driver’s license, pass a motor vehicle record check and be insurable through KSI’s insurance carrier, criminal background check and E-verify as a condition of successful consideration for employment.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and work in various weather conditions for long periods of time. Depending on the phase of the job, all personnel are required to work in conditions where physical demands can consist of placing one’s body in various positions to inspect and to accomplish certain tasks such as:

·         Sitting

·         Standing

·         Squatting

·         Raising and Lowering objects from one level to another

·         Carrying objects, usually holding it in the hands or arms, or on the shoulder

·         Grasping objects with the use of fingers, palm and wrists to hold/and or manipulate objects (hammers, saws, pencils, pens etc,)

·         Pulling ie. Exerting force upon an object so that the object moves toward the force (includes jerking)

·         Pushing ie. Exerting force upon an object so that the object moves away from the force (includes slapping, striking, kicking and treadle actions)

·         Bending at the waist, stooping, working in a supine position, twisting seated or standing

Some of these physical requirements will range from seldom, frequent to constant depending on the task.
